Have you seen Juan? Motley Crue’s Nikki Sixx searches for lost childhood friend from El Paso

Rock musician Nikki Sixx is looking for a long, lost childhood friend here in El Paso.

Sixx, who is best known as the co-founder, bassist, and primary songwriter of the band Mötley Crüe, took to social media in his search.

He posted a childhood photo to his Instagram account, writing: “My best friend Juan when I lived in El Paso. Wish I could find him!!!”

It appears Sixx spent at least a small portion of his childhood living in El Paso.

Sixx was born Frank Carlton Ferrano in 1958 in California and was raised by his single mother. According to an online biography, he and his mother moved to Mexico for a short time, after which they moved to Idaho with his grandparents. He would move several more times as a child including to El Paso, then in New Mexico, back to El Paso, and then he returned to Idaho.

ABC-7 has reached out to Nikki Six seeking more information about the childhood friend he is looking for, but have yet to hear back.
