EL PASO, Texas -- The El Paso Symphony Orchestra plans to pay tribute to the Queen of Tejano Music and her enduring legacy, with Selena’s most iconic hits filling downtown's historic Plaza Theatre during an evening concert next year.

The one-night tribute entitled “The Music of Selena” is set for March 7th at 8 p.m. at the Plaza and will feature vocalist and recording artist Isabel Marie Sánchez alongside the symphony.

Sánchez garnered attention in 2015 when she performed “No Me Queda Mas” at the 35th Annual Tejano Music Awards after being personally asked to do so by Selena's family.

Sánchez will join the symphony and conductor Bohuslav Rattay to perform classic Selena songs like “Dreaming of You,” “Como la Flor,” and “Bidi Bidi Bom Bom.”

Tickets for “The Music of Selena” go on sale at 10 a.m. Tuesday online at ticketmaster.com and epso.org; in person at the Plaza Theatre Box Office; or by phone at (915) 532-3776. Tickets for the concert range in price from $30 to $75 plus fees.
