Winston doubtful, Dalton ready for Saints against Vikings

LONDON (AP) — Saints backup quarterback Andy Dalton is preparing to square off with Kirk Cousins again in London. Dalton is expected to start after Jameis Winston was listed as doubtful for New Orleans’ game against the Minnesota Vikings at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday. Dalton took first-team snaps Friday with Winston missing a third practice because of a back injury. Saints coach Dennis Allen says they’ll “take it to the last minute but he doubts Winston will play in the NFL’s first international game of the season. Dalton and Cousins played in England in 2016 when the Bengals and Washington tied 27-27.
