LCPS to investigate harassment claims by ex-board member

LAS CRUCES, New Mexico - Facing allegations of bullying and harassment by a former school board member, Las Cruces Public Schools officials decided at a special meeting Monday evening to launch an investigation into the claims.

When she resigned from the board last week, district two board member Terrie Dallman alleged in her resignation letter that she was a victim of "bullying and misogynistic comportment."

Dallman was the lone board member to vote against the selection of Ralph Ramos as permanent superintendent of the district.

On Monday, the school board voted to authorize Ramos and outside legal counsel to investigate Dallman's allegations against her fellow board members.
