Trevor Cokley / U.S. Air Force/Twitter

Elon Musk is getting ready to find a new successor to take the helm over at Twitter.

Musk gave a virtual speech to a World Government Summit in Dubai, he said he's looking for the right person to quote, "stabilize the organization."

He hopes to pick his successor before the end of the year.

Last year in a Musk-made poll, millions of users voted in favor for must to be ousted from the platform.

Though Musk plans to name a new CEO for Twitter it may not mean a total breakaway.

After his planned resignation, Musk said he will be in charge of the company's software and servers teams.
