UPDATED EVENT: Monday, Nov. 04 House Committees due to jointly conduct deposition with White House officials, as part of impeachment inquiry – House Committee on Foreign Affairs, Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, and Committee on Oversight and Reform due to jointly conduct deposition with National Security Council attorneys John Eisenberg and Michael Ellis, with the transcript to be part of the impeachment inquiry into President Donald Trump * The Committees are investigating ‘the extent to which President Trump jeopardized national security by pressing Ukraine to interfere with the 2020 election and by withholding security assistance provided by Congress to help Ukraine counter Russian aggression, as well as any efforts to cover up these matters’ * The administration has informed House Democrats that it is refusing to comply with the inquiry, calling it unconstitutional
