The Nation’s Weather

The Nation’s Weather for Saturday, November 2, 2019

Following an active week of weather for many, much of the

nation will enjoy quieter weather for the start of the

weekend tomorrow. Much of the East will be dry, with the

exception of a few showers across central and southern

portions of Florida. Meanwhile, it will be one of the

chillier days so far this season across the Northeast and

Great Lakes. There will be spotty rain and snow showers

developing across portions of the Great Lakes, especially

across Michigan. Dry weather will be the rule for the Plains

through much of the West as high pressure remains in

control. Santa Ana winds will continue to subside across

Southern California, helping firefighters gain control over

ongoing wildfires.
