The Nation’s Weather

The Nation’s Weather for Tuesday, November 5, 2019

A weak storm system tracking out of the Great Lakes will

spread an area of light showers and grey skies across the

interior Northeast tomorrow. A separate feature along the

Atlantic coast will bring periods of steadier rain to some

coastal Northeast cities. An Alberta clipper system dropping

into the Plains will spread snow from the Dakotas into the

Midwest through the day tomorrow. As the clipper passes,

another reinforcing shot of cold air will follow in its

wake. Much of the South will remain dry, with the exception

of a few cities along the Gulf coast that may have a stray

shower or thunderstorm. Much of the interior West and West

Coast will remain dry and seasonable as a ridge of high

pressure sits overhead.
