RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) — Fourth-ranked Clemson scored four first-quarter touchdowns on the way to a 55-10 win at North Carolina State to earn a trip to the Atlantic Coast Conference championship game. Trevor Lawrence accounted for three touchdowns in the opening quarter for the Tigers.

BLACKSBURG, Va. (AP) — Hendon Hooker accounted for 311 yards of total offense and ran for a touchdown to help Virginia Tech beat No. 22 Wake Forest 36-17. The Hokies (6-3, 3-2 Atlantic Coast Conference) overcame a 0-6 halftime deficit, scoring 30 second-half points to beat a ranked team for the first time since last year at then-No. 22 Duke.

DURHAM, N.C. (AP) — Ian Book rushed for a career-best 139 yards and threw four touchdown passes, and No. 15 Notre Dame routed Duke 38-7. Book finished 18 of 32 for 181 yards passing, Chris Finke caught touchdown passes of 18 and 6 yards, and Chase Claypool and George Takacs also had short scoring catches. In winning their second straight and fifth in six games, the Irish rolled up 469 total yards and led 21-0 before the Blue Devils picked up their second first down.

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (AP) — Bryce Perkins threw for one touchdown and ran for another and Virginia shut down Georgia Tech after halftime in a 33-28 victory. Wayne Taulapapa ran for two touchdowns for the Cavaliers, who maintained their spot atop the Coastal Division. Virginia has a bye week ahead and then a home game against Liberty before closing the regular season at home against Virginia Tech, which has won the last 15 meetings.

BOSTON (AP) — D.J. Matthews caught a short pass, faked out three defenders and dove for the pylon to finish a 60-yard touchdown reception with 1:48 left, giving Florida State a 38-31 victory over Boston College in the Seminoles’ first game since firing coach Willie Taggart.

MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. (AP) — Jarren Williams set a school record with six touchdown passes, Dee Wiggins and Mike Harley catching two apiece, and Miami clinched bowl-eligibility with a 52-27 win over Louisville. Will Mallory and Deejay Dallas also had touchdown catches for Miami (6-4, 4-3 Atlantic Coast Conference). Louisville quarterback Micale Cunningham threw for two scores and ran for another, before he left injured in the second half.

PITTSBURGH (AP) — D’Angelo Hunter scored 17 points and Nicholls State made 11 3-pointers as the Colonels upset Pittsburgh 75-70. A turnover on a traveling violation by sophomore Pitt guard Au’Diese Toney with the Panthers trailing by three and 25 seconds left on the clock salted away the upset for the Colonels.

SOUTH BEND, Ind. (AP) — Dane Goodwin led a balanced Notre Dame attack with 18 points off the bench as the Fighting Irish stormed to a 92-57 victory over Robert Morris. T.J. Gibbs added 15 points, Prentiss Hubb 13, Robby Carmody 13 and John Mooney a double-double of 10 points and 10 rebounds.
