Here is the latest Pac-12 Conference sports news from The Associated Press

TEMPE, Ariz. (AP) — Kedon Slovis threw for 432 yards and four touchdowns, defensive lineman Christian Rector tipped the ball to himself for an interception with 25 seconds left and Southern California held on to beat Arizona State 31-26. The win clinched a bowl berth for the Trojans (6-4, 5-2 Pac-12), who missed post-season play last year. USC jumped on the Sun Devils with 28 points in the first quarter behind Slovis’ 297 yards and four TDs passing.

BOULDER, Colo. (AP) — Freshman kicker Evan Price made a 37-yard field goal with no time remaining as Colorado beat Stanford 16-13 to snap a five-game skid and keep its flickering bowl hopes afloat. Price was promoted this week with James Stefanou dealing with an injury. Price was instantly mobbed by teammates, falling to the ground and losing his helmet. It was Colorado’s first game-winning field goal as time expired since Sept. 29, 2007, against Oklahoma.

Chris Brown Jr. rushed for 95 yards and scored twice to help California (5-4, 2-4 Pac-12) win for the first time since Sept. 21. The Bears outgained the Cougars 196-16 on the ground.

EUGENE, Ore. (AP) — Top-ranked Oregon stunned the U.S. women’s national team 93-86 on Saturday to hand the Americans’ their second loss to a college team in program history. The Americans haven’t lost a major international game since falling in the semifinals of the 2006 World Championships to Russia.

STANFORD, Calif. (AP) — Daejon Davis scored 15 points, one of four Stanford players to score in double figures, and the Cardinal won their second straight to open the season, beating Cal State Fullerton 70-54. Oscar da Silva added 14 points for Stanford (1-1), which played the Titans (0-2) for the first time in seven years.

CORVALLIS, Ore. (AP) — Mikayla Pivec had 25 points, 12 rebounds and eight assists, and No. 7 Oregon State opened the Preseason WNIT Tournament with an 86-57 victory over UC Irvine. The Beavers will host Pacific in the second round of the season-opening tournament on Monday.
