University of Hawaii’s athletic department may trim salaries of Senior Administrative Staff

    HONOLULU, O’ahu (KITV) — Senior administrators at UH Manoa will have to deal with a pay cut when the University of Hawaii athletic department looks at trimming its budget.

According to the Honolulu Star Advertiser, the department is projecting a $9.3 million deficit for the current fiscal year that ends June of next year, due to the impact of COVID-19.

In addition, full-time replacement or new positions have been frozen and student help hours have been eliminated or reduced.
