UPDATE, May 20: El Paso native and NFL star Aaron Jones' plans to host a charity softball game next month in the Sun City featuring sports celebrities is now being postponed until next year due to a scheduling conflict, a spokeswoman for Jones' A&A All The Way Foundation told ABC-7 on Thursday.

"A little over a week ago, the Green Bay Packers announced that off-season workout dates for the team included June 4—the day of the Charity Softball Game. Aaron Jones’ responsibilities to the Packers organization and his teammates must come first," the foundation's Lauren DeBauch said.

Unfortunately, DeBauch said the schedules of the participating players in the softball game - and the availability of Southwest University Park, which is the home of both the Chihuahuas and Locomotive as well as hosting other events - made securing another date this year doubtful.

"We are genuinely disappointed to not be able to host the event at this time," but she indicated Jones is committed to holding the charity softball game in 2022 - although a date has not yet been announced.

Those who had already purchased tickets for the June 4 original game date will receive a full refund; DeBauch said ticket holders can contact the Southwest University Park Box Office at 915-533-BASE.
