A graduate of Riverside High School, I have deep roots in El Paso.

I left the borderland to pursue my journalistic career, following the yellow divided I-10 lanes to Los Angeles where I attended the University of Southern California.

Looking to perfect my craft, I worked in cities like Laredo, Texas, Tucson, Arizona, San Juan, Puerto Rico and most recently, Orlando, Florida.

My heartstrings tying me to El Paso kept pulling, and almost forty years later, I returned home, bringing with me all the experience and knowledge I gained from some of the best journalists in the country.

I started as host/producer for ABC 7 Sunday Xtra, as well as a general assignments reporter.

I was eventually promoted to co-anchor on ABC 7 at 10pm.

As of July, 2022, I am now hitting the alarm clock overnight and co-anchoring GMEP alongside Hillary Floren bringing the Borderland all the overnight news, as well a preview of the day's news.

I am proud to join the ABC 7 family where I can bring you quality journalism, the kind of quality El Pasoans deserve.
