No new virus deaths in El Paso, 192 new cases announced

EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- The El Paso Health Department announced there were no new coronavirus-related deaths to report Wednesday morning.

Health officials did, however, report 192 new cases.

El Paso County's pandemic death toll remained at 2,504, with 67 suspected Covid-19 deaths being investigated by the health department.

The number of known active cases in El Paso now stands at 2,619, an increase of 38.

There are 167 Covid-19 patients in El Paso hospitals, with 47 of them in the ICU.

Since the start of the pandemic, there have been 132,892 confirmed cases with 127,632 reported recoveries.
