EL PASO, Texas -- Late Monday, the rain arrived in east El Paso. The ABC-7 storm track weather team has been following the changes throughout the day.

Winds are expected to get as high as 50 mph.

Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

Ongoing showers are likely for Tuesday.
