Fire breaks out at Valley Super Market in West El Paso overnight

UPDATE: Fire officials have confirmed that the flames started from an oven fire.

A witness said that the El Paso Fire Department had to find a way in as the shop was closed at the time the fire was reported.

A spokesperson for EPFD said that crews went in and put the fire out quickly, and they inspected the building to ensure there were no further dangers.

EL PASO, Texas– The Valley Super Market on Redd and Resler caught fire Friday night.

It's the same store where a car crashed into last week. 

According to fire officials, the fire started around 8:30 p.m.

There were no injuries reported, and crews were able to have the fire under control by 10 p.m.

Fire officials have not yet said what caused the fire.
