Police Arrest 4 In ‘Beer Run’ Operation

EL PASO, Texas — El Paso police arrested four teenagers in a “beer run” operation over the weekend.

Officers in plain clothes and unmarked police cars conducted surveillance on several Central El Paso convenience stores in an effort to catch those committing beer runs.

Jonathon Archuleta, 19; Raul Arturo Perez, 17; Jonathon Vega, 17; and a 16-year-old juvenile were arrested, officials said.

Police warn would-be thieves that all five regional command centers conduct similar operations.
