Teen in hospital after Fabens apartment fire

A teenager is in the hospital after emergency crews say he tried to go back into a burning building in Fabens.

This happened early Friday morning at an apartment near the intersection of Camp and First Street. Investigators think the blaze could have started in the kitchen area. The battalion chief tells us the 17 year old teenager was taken to University Medical Center with second and first degree burns on his hands and arms.
