El Paso woman charged with murder in stabbing death of boyfriend with tattoo instrument

A 33-year-old El Paso woman has been charged with murder in the stabbing death of her 31-year-old boyfriend from Chaparral, New Mexico.

Elizabeth Munoz, of the 200 block of N. Davis, was arrested and booked into the El Paso County Jail late Sunday, March 2. Her bond has been set at $250,000. Police are not releasing her booking photo at this time.

At 3:25 p.m. March 1, El Paso Police officers were sent to a housing complex in the 8200 block of North Loop in response to a fight call.

When the Officers arrived to the apartments, they found Raul Robles seriously injured with multiple stab wounds in the neck. Robles was taken by El Paso Fire Medical personnel to Del Sol Medical Center where he later died.

According to the police affidavit, a witness told police she saw three men assault Robles and once he was on the ground unconscious, Munoz allegedly approached him and stabbed him multiple times.

The affidavit states Munoz told police that she acknowledged stabbing Robles two times in the neck with his own tattoo instrument.
