SUV crash causes power outage in San Elizario

Nearly 2,300 people lost their power early Thursday morning after an SUV crashed near an electrical pole in San Elizario.

The incident happened around 2:45 a.m. at the intersection of Socorro Road and Edge Road.

The El Paso Sheriff’s Office says there were no injuries from the crash.

Power was restored at around 4 in the morning.
