El Paso detectives asking for help solving homicide

Update: El Paso Police Department officials identify the dead person as a 30-year-old man. They have not yet provided further identification.

Police found the body at 9:47 p.m. October 24, 2023.

Crimes Against Persons detectives believe foul play is involved in the man's death. They are describing the death as a homicide.

Police are asking for anyone with information to reach out to Crime Stoppers of El Paso.

Update: Investigators found the body in an alley on the 1900 block of Happer Street.

Officials say it is normal procedure for Crimes Against Persons detectives to start investigating any unattended death. ABC-7 is still working to learn more about the nature of this person's death.
