Three dead in serious Central El Paso crash
Update (November 2, 2023): Police now say that three people have died as a result of the crash.
Update: A spokesperson with the El Paso Fire Department says that one person is dead following the crash. One person suffered serious injuries in the crash, while another five received minor injuries.
ABC-7 has learned the crash resulted from a Texas Trooper pursuit that began on Sunland Park Drive.
EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- A serious crash on Gateway East near Chelsea St. is being reported.
Fire dispatch confirming the crash has multiple injuries but could not provided how many people were injured.
El Paso police also confirming the Texas Department of Public Safety is conducting the investigation.
The came in at 1:12 a.m. Monday.
This is a developing story.
It was reported earlier that the crash was on I-10 near Paisano. This has since been corrected.
