West Side Water Main Break
EL PASO, TX.- A water main break in west El Pasowreaks havoc for several neighborhoodsThursday evening.
It happened around 4:00Thursday afternoon in the area around Redd Rd. and Resler.
El Paso Water Utilities dispatchers say the line was restored, but water pressure continued to present a problem for residents in surrounding areas.
According to the dispatchers, pressure was expected to be restored between 9:30 and 10:00 pm.
However,customers may still have a problem with water in the lines being dirty. Dispatchers say it will take more time for the lines to be flushed after the pressure is restored. That means the water won’t run clear for awhile, and shouldn’t be used for either drinking or cooking.
