Fire Destroys Unoccupied Home

SAN ELIZARIO, TX — Fire crews rushed out on Monday to extinguish a fire to an abandoned home.

Upon closer inspection, fire crews determined the structure was a total loss. The home was surrounded by dried weeds, and inspectors said a passerby may have started the fire with a discarded cigarette butt.

No injuries were reported.
