Man Rescued From Canal, Dies After Resuscitation Attempts
EL PASO, TX. – A man is dead after apparently trying to cross a canal into El Paso.
A Sunday night water rescue effort failed to save his life. An El Paso Fire Department team pulled the man’s body from a canal near the Border Highway and Yarbrough.
Officials say crews triedCPR to revive the man, but he failed to respond and was pronounced dead.
