Woman struck and injured in downtown El Paso

Police were at the scene of a pedestrian accident in west El Paso late Saturday night.

The accident happened just after 10 p.m. at the intersection of Mesa and Missouri.

Police say a woman was hit by a vehicle. Her condition is not known at this time. However, viewers have told us that she is in critical condition.

Viewers also told ABC-7 that the woman was known as the “candy lady.” She sold candy and chips downtown.
