NMSU announces full 2026-27 men’s basketball schedule

LAS CRUCES, New Mexico - After previously announcing its Conference USA schedule, NM State officially unveiled its complete 2026-27 men's basketball slate on Wednesday.

The schedule features 30 regular-season contests, including 14 games inside the Pan American Center.

The Aggies will tip off the season on Nov. 3 when they welcome Western New Mexico to Las Cruces before continuing a non-conference stretch that includes road trips to Gonzaga (Nov. 7) and UTEP (Nov. 12). NM State will also meet San Diego State in Oceanside, Calif., as part of the Compete 4 Cause Classic on Nov. 15.

Following the neutral-site showdown with the Aztecs, the Aggies return home for a Battle of I-10 rematch against UTEP on Nov. 19 before traveling to Jacksonville, Fla., for the Jacksonville Classic. There, NM State will face Robert Morris on Nov. 22 before competing against Lamar on Nov. 24. The Aggies then close out November with a home contest against Denver on Nov. 28.

December begins with a pair of home games against the University of the Southwest (Dec. 1) and Pacific (Dec. 15), while the Aggies will also make road trips to New Mexico (Dec. 5) and Saint Mary's (Dec. 9) during nonconference play.

NM State will then begin its 18-game Conference USA schedule which features nine home contests and nine road games. Postseason play is scheduled to begin on March 9 and will once again be played at Propst Arena in Huntsville, Ala.

Tipoff times and television designations will be announced at a later date.
