Where to find your nearest free Halloween Carnival in El Paso

EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- An evening of Halloween fun is in store for El Paso. On Halloween from 3-6 p.m., the City of El Paso Parks and Recreation Department will host carnivals at recreation and community centers across the city.

The annual Halloween Carnivals are free to attend. Families can expect jumping balloons, music, carnival games and candy. The city encouraged children to dress in their Halloween costume for a chance to win a costume contest.

Carnivals will be set up at the following locations:

Central/South-Central

  • Chamizal Community Center, 2119 Cypress Ave.
  • San Juan Recreation Center, 701 N. Glenwood St.
  • Seville Recreation Center, 6700 Sambrano Ave.
  • Sylvia A. Carreon Community Center, 709 Lomita Dr.
  • Wayne Thornton Community Center, 3134 Jefferson Ave.

West El Paso

  • Don Haskins Recreation Center, 7400 High Ridge Dr.
  • Galatzan Recreation Center, 650 Wallenberg Dr.

East/Far East

  • Gary Del Palacio Recreation Center, 3001 Parkwood St.
  • Marty Robbins Recreation Center, 11620 Vista Del Sol Dr.
  • Michelle T. Adjemian Recreation Center, 9031 Viscount Blvd.
