Police arrest suspect for deadly stabbing of Chaparral teen

Police arrest a man suspected in the deadly stabbing of a Chaparral teenager.

Adam Couder, 27, of the 11000 block of Horse Rance in Northeast El Paso, is charged with Murder.

Police say Couder was already in jail for a separate offense. He was re-booked on a warrant for Murder and his bond has been set at $500,000, according to police.

Detectives say Couder stabbed Cesar Gutierrez, 19, of Chaparral, New Mexico, August 21, 2015. It allegedly happened during a fight in the 10400 block of Rushing Road in Northeast El Paso.

The night of the stabbing, paramedics rushed Gutierrez to University Medical Center, where he died.
