Man hit by 2 vehicles is in the hospital with life-threatening injuries
A 24-year-old pedestrian is in the hospital with life-threatening injuries after being hit by a vehicle Sunday night in West El Paso.
El Paso Police’s Special Traffic Investigators say Xavier Salcido started walking across Mesa Street between Castellano Drive and Argonaut Drive. He was not crossing in a crosswalk and was in a dimly lit area.
A white Ford Escape travelling in the left, northbound lanes, struck Salcido. He was then run over by a blue Toyota Corolla.
Salcido was taken to University Medical Center.
