Update: 84-year-old missing man found safe

Nov. 10 Update: The family of William Dumas tells ABC-7 he has been found safe at a home in El Paso.

Nov. 9 Original Story: A local Silver Alert has been issued for an elderly man that drove away from his home on Friday and has not returned.

84-year old William James Dumas left his home on Friday driving a 2003 Buick
Regal, 4 door, gray in color, with TX plates BJM2880. Mr. Dumas is known to frequent the Sonic at Alameda and Delta and regularly visits the cemetery in Fabens. Mr. Dumas may be suffering from dementia.

Anyone with information on Mr. Dumas’ whereabouts is asked to call the El Paso Police Department at 832-4400.
