House catches fire in Canutillo
One person was taken to the hospital after a trailer home caught fire in Canutillo early Thursday morning.
The incident happened around 5 a.m. on the 7100 block of 3rd Street. Several fire crews from the Upper Valley responded, including Santa Teresa, West Valley, and Chamberino.
The West Valley fire chief says the home was completely burnt. Fire crews say they tried to access the building from an alley, but it was too small.
Two people were in the home at the time and managed to escape. However, one was injured and taken to an area hospital.
Fire crews are still waiting to interview the person taken to the hospital to get a clearer picture on the cause of the fire.
