Thanksgiving Day closures
Thanksgiving holiday is Thursday, here is a list of key closures.
City Hall and all administrative offices will be closed on Thursday, November 26, 2015 in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday. The regular El Paso City Council meeting scheduled for Tuesday, November 24, 2015 has been cancelled due to the holiday.
City administrative offices will operate under normal hours, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Wednesday, Thanksgiving week. City Hall will resume regular business hours at 7 a.m. on Monday, November 30, 2015.
The following services and programs will be closed on Thanksgiving:
-Animal Services Shelter
-Citizen Collection Stations
-Greater El Paso Landfill
-El Paso Museums (Archaeology, Art, History)
-El Paso Zoo
-Parks and Recreation Facilities
-Public Health Facilities
– Public Library Branches
-No Garbage/Recycling Collection – Thursday collection will be on Saturday, November 28, 2015
-U.S. Postal Service
-UTEP: Closed on Thanksgiving and Friday, November 28.
-EPCC: Closed on Thanksgiving and Friday, November 28.
