Push to end violence in NE El Paso continues

this morning– the push for an anti-violence movement in northeast el paso continues. and organizers are asking for the community to get involved– regardless of what side of town you live in. good morning el paso’s denise olivas is live with the story …denise? the organization “all lives matter” was inaugurated back in september with its first meeting. this after a string of shootings and stabbings in northeast el paso. this is video of that first meeting– where a handful of residents showed up. another meeting was held at the el paso police northeast regional command. now a third meeting is in the works for this coming saturday– on the same day the organization plans to march in the celebration of lights parade. one of the organizers tells us those participating are from every part of el paso with the same goal: to urge young el pasoans to stay out of trouble, out of gangs and have more trust in local law enforcement: “when we did our firs meeting…won’t be in fear of the authorities” nixon says the organization “al lives matter” meeting will be held this saturday at andress high school at one in the afternoon. then they plan to march in the parade. in albuquerque, a handcuffed woman managed
