Crews battle house fire in Lower Valley

Firefighters worked to put out a house fire on the 200 block of Carnes in far east El Paso, the city Fire Department said.

Fire crews responded to the residence about 6:30 p.m. Saturday.

Eleven units were dispatched to fight the condition two fire.

The Fire Department tweets a majority of the flames had been knocked down just before 7 p.m.

At 7:05 p.m., the Fire Department said the fire was under control.
