FBI, EPPD looking for suspect who robbed an east El Paso bank

FBI agents and investigators with the El Paso Police Department are investigating a bank robbery that happened Tuesday afternoon at the BBVA Compass Bank on the 2100 block of N. Yarbrough.

The bank is at the intersection of Yarbrough and Montwood across the street from a Chevron gasoline station.

EPPD said the suspect entered the bank around 3:12 p.m. and fled with an unknown amount of money.

He’s described as an Hispanic male, 6’0″ tall, stocky build, wearing dark sunglasses, wearing a white hooded sweater, dark colored jogging pants with a gray stripe, a white bandana/scarf over his face, blue latex gloves and black colored handgun.

Anyone with information as the identity of this robbery suspect is asked to call the El Paso FBI office at 915-532-5000 or to remain anonymous, call Crimes Stoppers of El Paso at 915-566-TIPS (8477).
