Fire damage at East El Paso home estimated at $150K

Fire damage to an East El Paso is estimated at $150,000, the El Paso Fire Department said Tuesday.

About 75 percent of the home was damaged, firefighters said.

The blaze erupted at a home on the 9700 block of Wick, just south of the Montana/McRae intersection, shortly after 5:30 pm.

At about 6:15 pm, the fire department said the blaze was under control and crews were checking for hot spots.

No injuries were reported.
