Run For the Wall stops in Las Cruces

The 30th Run For the Wall motorcycle ride made a stop in Las Cruces Friday to visit the recently vandalized Vietnam memorial.

The mission of Run For the Wall is to promote healing among all veterans and their friends and family. They also call to account prisoners of war and those missing in action, honor military members who have been killed, and support military personnel all over the world.

The “run” is a cross country motorcycle ride and there are three routes: a northern, central, and southern route. Those riding the southern route passed through the Borderland on Friday. All routes will end in Arlington, VA at Arlington National Cemetery on May 26th.
