Police officer from El Paso released from hospital after being shot in the face in Dallas
A Dallas police officer from El Paso is back home after being shot last month, according to WFAA.
Crystal Almeida is an Americas High School graduate who was shot in the face while responding to a shoplifting call at a Home Depot in April. She spent weeks in the hospital in critical condition.
Another police officer was shot and killed by the suspect.
