Rapper 50 Cent flies into El Paso on ‘Texas Takeover’ to promote his new cognac, champagne brands

If you thought you spotted famed rapper 50 Cent in El Paso this past week, you just might have.

His private plane landed briefly in El Paso as the rap star participated in a promotional tour for his newly launched brands of champagne and cognac.

50 Cent tweeted about his visit to the Sun City for what he dubbed his “Texas Takeover” liquor tour.

He was one of several celebrities to visit El Paso in recent days. Others included rapper Cardi B., who performed in concert to a packed crowd at the El Paso County Coliseum, and domestic diva Martha Stewart, who dined at L&J’s Cafe during a business trip that took her through El Paso.
