No new virus deaths, 90 new cases reported in El Paso

EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- The El Paso Department of Public Health announced 90 new coronavirus cases, but no new deaths on Friday.

The death toll remains at 119. This week is still on track to be one of the deadliest in El Paso County, with 19 new deaths being announced since Sunday.

There have now been 4,178 confirmed cases and 3,083 recoveries. That means there are 976 active cases, which is a slight increase from Thursday.

Hospitalizations increased from 101 to 106, but the number of ICU patients dropped from 55 to 52. The number of patients on ventilators also dropped from 25 to 21.
