Chihuahua Police Officer Killed On Busy Street In Juarez

A Chihuahua State Police Agent was shot and killed along one of Juarez’s busiest streets Thursday.

Oscar Campolla Saucedo, 37, was found dead inside his 1994 4-door blue car along Lopez Mateos Avenue and Juan Gabriel Street.

According to Chihuahua state police, Campolla Saucedo was still wearing his uniform and had his standard weapon in the vehicle.

Investigators on the scene found at least 27 bullet shells. Gunshot wounds were visible along his face, neck, thorax, and abdomen.

The body was transported to the medical examiners office for future investigation.
