Sunday Funday Moment: El Paso couple proves that with love and patience, nothing is impossible

EL PASO, Texas -- It was back in July of last year when ABC-7's Iris Lopez featured a video of El Paso couple Raul Sanchez and Roxana Garcia and a special moment that their family caught on camera.

In the video, shared on Twitter, Raul is shown signing Christina Perry's song 'A Thousand Years' while his girlfriend Roxana watches. Roxana is deaf and in order to communicate Raul learned how to sign in such a short time.

The video has been retweeted over 100 thousand times and liked over 400 thousand times. It was shared by Raul's cousin Briana on her twitter page.

Fast forward one year later. That same song plays on a TV screen showing photos of Raul, Roxana and her 8-year-old daughter Rosalie.

The beautiful tribute ends with a surprise proposal for Roxana in front of her family and friends, but the most special moment happens when Raul gets one one knee and asks little Rosalie if she would allow him to be her dad.

Rosalie wipes her tears of joy and gladly nods her head and accepts a necklace from Raul. Daughter and dad then share a hug while family members applaud the special moment.
