Early Morning Crash In East El Paso Sends Woman To Hospital

Paramedics transported a woman to a local hospital early Saturday morning after a truck slammed into the car she was driving.

The accident happened in East El Paso shortly after 2am in the 1600 block of Zaragosa near the Oasis Lanes Bowling Alley.

According to officers on the scene, a silver truck was headed north on Zaragosa when the driver of a gold car allegedly pulled out in front of it.

The woman driving the car was rushed to a local hospital; meanwhile, the woman driving the truck told ABC-7 she did not see the car.

The couple in the truck was not injured. At this time it is not known if speed or alcohol contributed to the accident.

Authorities have not released the identities of those involved in the crash.
