UPDATE: ABC-7 I-Team learns more about plane crash near Hueco Tanks

The ABC-7 I-Team reports the plane that crashed near Hueco Tanks March 18 is registered under BRENTCO Aerial Patrols in Durango, Colorado.

ABC-7 left messages with the company but did not hear back.

The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) assisted in the investigation of a plane crash that was found by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) in Hudspeth County.

The single engine fixed-wing Cessna 182 aircraft was reported missing March 17, 2015. The pilot died in the crash.
