taking a strong message to state competition– and you can help them win. good morning el paso’s denise olivas is live to explain… denise? the team made up of four young ladies placed first in the local health occupations students of america competition– or hosa for short. now they need to show that their 30-second public service announcement can make a difference: “3 seconds of vid the psa is titled “sitting is death– it’s all about physical activity.” i shows how not being active can lead to illness or even death. the team is taking the psa to galveston this week for the state competition. sharing the video through social media will also help them win– by showing that they are raching and hopefully making an impact: lucero macias 10:43– 11:00 “so the development was all them and now they get to see how it impacts everyone else, so i think from an educational standpoint the activity was very beneficial for them especially if they want to get in the area of health or even media” i’ll be sharing the full length 30 second video on out facebook page this morning– find us on facebook– and share it. supreme court nominee merrick garland will be back
