abc-7 at 5… abc-7 is teaming up with the u-s marshalls service to help make our community a safer place to live.. we call it the abc-7 crime takedown day. my co-anchor rick cabrera is here to explain. rick: this is your chance to share information on a fugitive… deputy marshals are here to take your calls, your tips. we’re featuring fugitives — if you have information on them or other people wanted by law enforcement, call now. the number is 915-496-1775 or toll free 1-800- 580-kvia. intvw marshal robert almonte now let’s profile another fugitive … who with your help the task force can track down and keep off our streets. deputy marshals are looking for 20- year-old alberto torres. he was originally charged with possession of marijuana and given probation. but investigators say he violated his probation by leaving the el paso area without permission and allegedly driving while intoxicated in kermit, near odessa. he was arrested there on april first and posted bond. now prosecutors are looking to revoke his bond. torres also goes by alberto hernandez. he is five feet nine inches tall and weighs 180 pounds. also, keep in mind … we have a link at k-v- i-a dot com to the u-s marshal’s website with other fugitives. so maybe torres isn’t someone you have seen … but you may have spotted one of the other fugitives. and rember if you have a tip or just a question about how the process works … call 4-9-6-17-75 or 800-580-kvia.
