Power Outage Effecting Major Intersections
EL PASO, Texas – Crews restored power to a large area of El Paso Friday afternoon. The Austin substation near Basset Place lost power, effecting about 2,000 people.
The lights at several major intersections went out, but El Paso police conducted traffic control.
The boundaries of the outage were Montana Avenue, Chelsa Street, Paisano Drive, Trowbridge Drive and Geronimo Drive. Officials don’t know what caused the outage.
The outage happen at 2:00 pm. Power was restored about 30 minutes later.
