Authorities Looking For Suspects In 3 Aggravated Robberies
El Paso County Sheriff’s Deputies and Crime Stoppers of El Paso are looking for two suspects who committed three aggravated robberies in one night.
Deputies responded to the La Bannana store at 3582 Mark Jason in the Montana Vista area on Wednesday, September 9th around 9:20pm in regards to an aggravated robbery.
While these deputies were headed to this store, they received a call about an aggravated robbery at the El Pasito meat market in the 4000 block of Desert Meadows.
In addition, while investigating these two locations, the deputies received a dispatch of yet another aggravated robbery. This one was at the Dollar General store at 14392 Montana.
When the deputies arrived at the Dollar General store, they spotted an all-terrain vehicle speeding away from the area with its headlights off. They pursued the ATV as it sped through the desert, but the deputies lost sight of it soon afterwards.
A while later, the deputies found the abandoned ATV in the desert near Desert Meadows. They spotted footprints leading from the ATV but those eventually were lost.
Authorities found two .22 caliber handguns with two rounds each about 50 yards from the ATV. According to surveillance video from the Dollar General store, two suspects entered the store and displayed handguns.
These suspects were wearing cholo-type caps and bandanas over their faces, but in one of the two earlier robberies, they were reported to be wearing ski masks.
Anyone with information about any of these three robberies is asked to call Crime Stoppers of El Paso immediately at 566-TIPS (8477) and will remain anonymous. A tip that leads to an arrest could result in a cash reward of up to $1,000.
