Marmolejo Trial: Witness’ Facebook Statuses Appear To Be Commentary On Trial
As expected, Mariah Wilson – the stepsister and ex-girlfriend of David Marmolejo – is proving to be a major player in David’s murder trial.
The two were dating when Gloria Marmolejo – David’s mom – was killed. David was charged late last year in his mom’s homicide.
Witnesses have testified this week that Gloria did not approve of David and Wilson’s relationship. The defense has said in court police did not look at her as being a possible suspect in Gloria’s homicide.
Although she has yet to take the stand, Wilson’s Facebook statuses appear to be an ongoing commentary on the trial.
“day 4 n (expletive) aint getting better yet i wish i just saw n the future n knew what was gonna b i know im doing the right thing but why does it seem like im not,” she posted Thursday afternoon. Thursday was the fourth day of the trial.
Wilson’s status on Wednesday stated, “day 3 n the road is getting bumpy my emotions on high as i start seeing familiar faces once friends now i dont know if i can even say hi i wont deny my past all i can do is look to improve my future i wish they understood tht i want whats best for everyone i know what i am doing is right and if i have to endure ur comments i will.”
Her status on Monday, the first day of the trial said, “first day of a long journey u will not break me i am the one fighting for whats right for her n will do so till i cant ne more soon tides will turn n they will all c what is.”
